Poised in a perfect setting in historic Berrima, in the heart of the picturesque Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia, The Art of Bookbinding is a specialised atelier and shop.

Sharing a meticulous eye for detail and a self-confessed love of books, Hugo and Henni van Willigen devote their days to preserving books by applying the traditional bookbinding methods master craftsman Hugo learned at a Monastery in Diepenveen, Holland, almost thirty years ago.

As well as specialising in restoration, repair and special commission binding, The Art of Bookbinding offers hand-made stationery and gifts, quills, calligraphy and bookbinding supplies and a large range of imported fine papers to suit every requirement.
